When participating in the Way of the Hunter Screenshot Contest May 2025 (Promotion), open from May 7, 2025, 04:00 PM CEST through May 20, 2025, 04:00 PM CEST, organized by THQ Nordic GmbH, Landstrasser Haupstrasse 1/23, 1030 Vienna, Austria (Organizer or THQ Nordic), the participant accepts the following terms and conditions (T&C):

1. Participation and Exclusion

Participation is allowed for individuals of legal age worldwide/18 years of age or older. The Promotion is open to legal residents of the European Union, EEC, UK, USA, Canada and Australia. Individuals working at THQ Nordic and members of their family, individuals in any way associated with THQ Nordic, Nine Rocks Games, or their partners and staff working for the Promotion are excluded.

The Organizer, in its sole discretion, will not accept submissions if: (a) they are automatically generated by computers; (b) are incomplete. A participant may only participate in its own name and one time. Participant is responsible to complete all information required to join the Promotion. Flawed or incomplete contact information may disqualify the participant from entering.

Entries that are deemed to be unlawful, especially content that promotes racial hatred or violates human dignity, or which may otherwise be harmful to the goodwill and reputation of THQ Nordic will be rejected.

The prize game is not affiliated with Google, Meta, X, Bluesky, Discord, or Steam and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organised by Google, Meta, X, Bluesky, Discord, or Steam.

2. How to participate:

• Take a screenshot of a white-tailed deer with unique antlers in Way of the Hunter
• Upload the screenshot via Google Forms here: https://forms.gle/mCoL7aoTVoTNqpwH9

3. How to win:

• Five (5) winners will be selected by a jury based on creativity, uniqueness, and visual appeal composed of members of THQ Nordic as well as the developer of Way of the Hunter, Nine Rock Games, and notified via email on May 23, 2025.

If a participant does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 calendar days of dispatch of notification of the prize, the prize will be forfeited. In this case, a substitute winner will chosen.

4. Prize

Five (5) “Way of the Hunter” game keys, either for the base game or DLC for a platform of the winner’s choice. One prize per winner.

3. No cash payment, no exchange or legal process

The prize cannot be exchanged or delivered as cash payment. The winner is not allowed to transfer the prize to a third party. Recourse to legal action is excluded.

The winner must pay all taxes applicable under the tax laws of their country of residence. These taxes are not part of the prize and must be paid by the winner.

5. Warranty Exclusions

As far as the law permits, in no event shall the Organizer, its employees, agents or sales partners be responsible or liable to indemnify prize recipients or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death resulting from participation in the Promotion or the use of the prize. Any limitation of liability in the event of fraud, malice or gross negligence is excluded. A Participant’s statutory rights remain unaffected.

The Organizer does not take on any liability for the availability or functioning of the Promotion.

In no event the Organizer is responsible or liable for any failure or delay in the performance of their obligations under these T&C if the reasons for this are due to circumstances or influences beyond its reasonable control – such as strikes, work stoppages, accidents and interruptions, loss or the malfunction of utilities, communication or computer services (software or hardware) if these circumstances constitute force majeure within the meaning of applicable local law. As far as the law allows, no other terms and conditions, guarantees or other terms apply to the Promotion, and all free products are provided in their actual condition without any express or implied warranty (including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of satisfactory quality or suitability for a particular purpose)With the awarding of the prize, the Organizer is, in any case, released from all obligations.

6. Publicity Rights

By participating in this Promotion, each participant agrees to allow the Organizer to use their Instagram username and profile picture and audio and video recordings for promotional materials and activities on social media channels.

The participant confirms that it holds all regal rights in the postings and declares that by participating in the Promotion no rights of third parties are violated, in particular that the contents of the postings were personally created by the Participant and that no intellectual property rights of any kind (copyrights, personal rights, likeness or registered trademarks etc) are violated in connection with the participation. The Participant declares to indemnify and hold the Organizer harmless against any claims of third parties.

The Participant grants to the Organizer the non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferrable, world-wide and perpetual license to use, modify, reproduce, display, perform, distribute and create derivative works of the contents of the postings in any and all formats on any channel and in any medium, including websites and social media channels managed by the Organizer for the purpose of this contest, publicity, marketing and advertising.

7. Privacy protection

THQ Nordic does not collect any other personal data of the participants other than the ones which can be viewed on Google Forms. All participants have also agreed to the privacy policy of Google Forms in order to use the platform. Participants can find more detailed information in particular at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

The personal data gathered and saved by THQ Nordic is only used to arrange and execute the giveaway.

8. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction

Austrian substantial law with the exclusion of conflicts of laws rules, Vienna courts.

9. General

Legal recourse is excluded; no correspondence can be entered into about the Promotion.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these T&C shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these T&C shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with the terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

These T&C can be changed at any time by the Organizer without specific notification or changed accordingly by the provision of corresponding information in the competition. The latest version of these T&C is published on the website of the Organiser. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion at any time at its sole discretion and without reason.
